community safety app

The Qdrome platform supports:

Qdrome represents an affordable and highly adaptable solution for all the safety needs of a community!

When a community has a peaceful defense against the threat of real violence, it can truly begin to evolve.

Create a powerful safety-net for your community

Qdrome, founded on the human values and experiences of its founders, all experts in the field of personal protection and security, is designed to support an unlimited number of members, groups and organizational levels within a community.

Qdrome Community Control Center

A powerful and extremely customizable web-based application that enables the creation and management of a community in all its aspects. The Qdrome mobile application is managed through the Control Center.

Qdrome mobile app (Android, iOS)

A mobile app for personal safety, fully customizable to the needs of a particular community. Easy to use and feature-rich, the Qdrome mobile app is a must-have tool for a proactive, security-conscious and well-informed community.

Smart wireless panic button (optional)

This lightweight and neat device connects to the Qdrome mobile app and allows quick-send media-rich calls in emergencies when there’s no time to look for a mobile phone. Whether it is a physical attack, a threat, sudden health weakness or any other problem, a panic button can be a life-saver.

Who needs Qdrome?

Qdrome is intended for communities, collectives, associations and groups gathered around the same interests with the desire to increase the safety of their members, strengthen unity and humanity, organize real help and improve communication. With Qdrome, they will get an irreplaceable tool and platform for proactive and preventive action.

In addition, there are distinct communities that can especially leverage the launch pad that community safety provides. Among them are:

Communities of marginalized identities

Communities of marginalized identities, who often do not feel Law Enforcement truly protects them.  These could be local communities of African Americans, Latinos and immigrants.  And, again more recently, people of Jewish identity. Qdrome wants to help ALL marginalized communities to safely exist.

Women

From early childhood, no one group carries a heightened sense of awareness of their surroundings and environment as do women. They are often exposed to risky situations and understand the power of community and the protection it can provide, whether it is for themselves or for their children and family.

Connected in a Qdrome community, women can also be the nurturers they are, initiating togetherness, humanity and care for more vulnerable groups in their midst e.g. seniors.

Local neighborhood or city communities

Improved community safety is a priority for all individuals living in close proximity. Qdrome overcomes the challenges of care for vulnerable groups (e.g. elderly people, children, the mentally and physically challenged etc.), by creating real connections and bolstering togetherness where everyone feels they belong.

local community action

Qdrome provides a unique platform to operate in the sphere of personal safety, help and connectivity, from which great good can flourish.

Tailor everything to your community needs!

Broadcast

What is a Broadcast in Qdrome? Broadcast is a call sent with all the details, location and multimedia content. During the duration of the Broadcast, everyone who responded to the call can communicate with each other and add messages, images, videos, audio files and tags.

Broadcast can be sent by a community member from the Qdrome mobile app or by a Group Admin from the Control Center.

Broadcast types & tags

Community members can use predefined types and tags when reporting incidents. In addition to significantly speeding up communication during the incident, it later enables high-quality analysis and filtering of the collected data and the creation of reports in the Control Center. The tags that will be used for a particular type of broadcast or the Group as a whole are defined by the Group administrator. For example: Police called, Police arrived, Ambulance called, Ambulance arrived, Firefighters called, Firefighters arrived, Offender arrested, Patrol in progress, etc.

User roles and management

Group user management such as inviting users to the group, assigning certain roles, deleting from the group, etc., is the task of the Group Administrator (via Qdrome Control Center). Users are all members of your group.

There are two user roles: Regular users and Responders. Regular users can use the mobile app to report events and incidents, call for help and assistance while Responders can respond to them, but they can also report events and incidents themselves. As a Group Administrator, you can give custom names to your Regular users and Responders.

There is also a role of Community Organizer who has all the privileges of a Responder plus the ability to recruit new group members (invite new users to the group) through the Qdrome mobile application.

Community geo-boundaries

Via Control Center, Group Admin can divide community areas into zones and determine geo-boundaries for individual neighborhoods to have an overview of the zones in which certain members operate, for easier organization and non-overlapping.

It’s an excellent tool to develop self-awareness, to be proactive and preventive in everyday life. There is a lot of good will behind this project.

Improve your community with the help of data

Table, map, graph and heatmap reports

Qdrome Control Center allows you to view and analyze collected data about incidents and community members in many ways. This can help you better manage the community and its needs.

For example, the query can be “Show me all incidents by hours where the police were called in the last 3 months” or “Show me only events related to elderly people in the last year”, etc.

Customizable PDF or CSV reports

Reports are an important feature for a Group Administrator. Equally important is the ability to customize the data and generate reports tailored to specific needs, which can then be exported in PDF or CSV format.

Connect them all!

Qdrome is built for big things. The platform is flexible in how it creates community structures, be it an entire network of groups, subgroups, or teams within a community. There is no limit to the number or size of individual groups within a broader community.

Individuals can be members of more than one group. Each group can manage itself, from the highest to the lowest levels.

The actions of this project are the ones that make a real difference in the community
